Paris Hilton will be at South Coast Plaza Macy’s to launch her new shoe line next month.

From Feb. 1 to 8, customers can get a sneak peak of the line at the local department store. During that time, the first 200 customers to make a purchase from the spring collection, which ranges from $59 to $99, will be guaranteed a chance to meet her and get an autographed photo at the Feb. 8 launch from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the South Coast Plaza Macy’s.

The shoe collection, which will launch nationally, will feature stilettos, flats, wedges and sandals. After the spring collection, the shoe line will include boots and prices can go as high as $195.

In a nod to Hilton’s favorite color pink, every shoe will have a signature pink sole. The shoes come in colors like metallic, pink, of course, and cheetah prints.

This is the second celebrity designer to recently appear at the South Coast Plaza Macy’s. Last month, Fergie was also at the local department store to promote her spring 2008 handbag collection.

Struggling Macy’s said last month that it’s closing nine underperforming stores outside of California. While it won’t disclose sales performance at individual stores, it said last month that it doesn’t have plans to close more stores, including its 10 in Orange County. Last week, the department store reported that companywide sales at stores open for at least a year fell 1.1 percent for November and December vs. the same period a year ago.
