That’s right. In a few months, the luxury sports car maker will for the first time sell men’s and women’s swimwear in its U.S. dealerships, including its lone O.C. location in Santa Ana.
The Italian-made bikini and sarong set, pictured right, with the Lamborghini logo on them, goes for $148.
Automobili Lamborghini ArtiMarca, which today includes clothing and accessories, was launched in Italy in 1999. Later, Lamborghini started selling items, including T-shirts, sweatshirts and hats, in its U.S. dealerships. But the big marketing push to let people know about its clothing line didn’t began until fall 2007.
“It is extremely important for us as a brand to expand to our North American consumer base as this is our most important market,” said Dominik Hoberg via e-mail. He’s the president of the Automobili Lamborghini ArtiMarca Collection.
The ArtiMarca collection consists of more than 100 items “tailored not only to Lamborghini buyers, but also to the luxury consumer who values style and elegance,” he said.

I would be VERY embarrassed for the person that would wear a Lamborghini bikini.
