Nike Factory Store opened its only Orange County store on Wednesday at The Block at Orange, said store manager Jon Ciochetto.

Nike Factory carries Nike branded footwear, clothing and equipment. The majority of the products are from the past season and sold at a discount, according to the mall’s Web site. Nike Factory carries primarily overstock and close-out merchandise.

The new O.C. store is adjacent to the AMC Theatres and near the food court.

There were 121 Nike Factories in the U.S., according to the company’s latest annual report.
