Xavier Conley had 90 seconds to snag $1,000 in goods at the new Nordstrom Rack at Laguna Hills Mall.

Here’s what he ended up picking:

  • 2 Burberry polos in brown and blue, $40 and $70, for Conley
  • Burberry his and her stainless steel watches, $314 for both, for Conley and girlfriend or mom
  • David Donahue sterling silver cuff links, $40, for Conley
  • Clarks black loafers, $50, for mom
  • 2 pairs Rockport sneakers, $46 each, for Conley
  • 2 Platinum silk ties, $30 each, for mom’s boyfriend
  • David Donahue dress shirt, $50, for mom’s boyfriend
  • Ed Hardy pink women’s tee, $45, for girlfriend
  • 2 Tuscany merino sweaters in brown and black, $49 each, for Conley
  • True Religion men’s jeans, $100, for Conley
  • Nike sports bag, $30, for brother
  • 6-pack Nike socks, $10

    How did this contest work? Was it random who got chosen, because how come the guy who was first in line didn’t win?

    From Hang Nguyen: It was a drawing. So the winner was randomly chosen.

    You couldn’t pay me $1,000 to wear most of that junk. And of course… he had to grab the nike socks!

    Can he return them for cash back? You could get most of that stuff without the fancy name for half as much at Target.
