Forever 21 will open an 85,700-square-foot store at the former Mervyn’s building at Los Cerritos Center, according to the mall.

This location will offer clothing, accessories and shoes for men, women and children in a department-store setting. The retailer aims to open for the holiday season.

“Our business is primed for significant growth this year in these department store spaces,” said Larry Meyer, executive vice president for Forever 21.
