Video: New Target is 1 of 4 in O.C. selling fresh foods

The Target at Brea Marketplace at Birch Street and State College Boulevard, which opened this week, has a “P Fresh” (short for prototype-fresh) section that includes produce, meat, a deli and bakery, according to a Register story by Lou Ponsi. To read the rest of the story and view photos of the store, CLICK HERE.

This is Orange County’s 28th Target. That’s more stores than the giant discounter has in each of the following states: Connecticut, Kansas and Nevada.

The retailer has been expanding in O.C. over the last few years. In 2007, it opened locations at Westminster Mall, The District at Tustin Legacy and Mission Viejo. And in 2006, Target opened a location at the Irvine Spectrum Center.
