Manolo Blahnik is coming back to Orange County.

The shoe czar will make a personal appearance on Sept. 27 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Neiman Marcus at Fashion Island in Newport Beach.

Reservations are limited and based on a first come basis.  Respond by Sept. 13 by calling 949-467-3385.   

It’s his second visit to O.C. He was also at this Neiman Marcus in September 2006, according to the department store’s spokeswoman.

Manolo Blahnik has been mentioned so often on “Sex and the City” that it has cemented his name in pop culture.

Remember the scene where Carrie Bradshaw was in Vogue’s closet? “Do you know what these are? Manolo Blahnik Mary Janes. I thought these were an urban shoe myth.” Read the rest of this entry »
